After a visit to the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah and being introduced to pot belly pigs, I wanted to give the pigs something for Christmas. I felt that winter jackets were needed for the pigs for the cold winter months, but found very little on the internet in the way of quality. Once an avid seamstress, I dusted off the sewing machine and began making jackets for the pot belly pigs at the sanctuary. My designs and style grew through trial and error. I even began to embellish the jackets with collars, ruffles and appliqués, so not only were the jackets practical, but stylish too.
With leftover material I expanded to dog jackets and have added several different styles to my line. Pet carrier covers was something I created as a need to help in transporting rescued cats. Cats stayed calm during transport and it minimized their stress if they could not see out of the carrier. The pet carrier covers also come with matching pads.
All jackets and pet carrier covers are custom made to exact measurements and the owners’ preference in color and design.
